welcome to casa de luz azul. by accessing our website, booking consultations, or participating in kambo ceremonies, you agree to these terms and conditions. please read them carefully as they contain important information about your rights and responsibilities.
acceptance of terms
by using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. if you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services or website.
services offered
casa de luz azul provides:
educational consultations about kambo medicine
kambo ceremony facilitation
integration support and guidance
group ceremonies and private retreats
complementary sacred plant medicine services (hapé, sananga)
important: our services are not medical treatment. we do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical conditions. kambo ceremonies are spiritual and wellness practices, not medical procedures.
eligibility and health requirements
age requirement participants must be 18 years or older. we do not provide services to minors under any circumstances.
health screening all participants must:
complete comprehensive health intake forms
participate in mandatory consultation before first ceremony
disclose all health conditions, medications, and supplements
provide accurate and complete medical information
obtain medical clearance if requested
contraindications kambo is not appropriate for individuals with:
heart conditions of any kind
high or low blood pressure
blood clotting disorders
epilepsy or seizure disorders
serious mental health conditions
pregnancy or breastfeeding
compromised immune systems
active addiction or substance abuse issues
certain medications (to be discussed in consultation)
we reserve the right to decline service to anyone whose health or circumstances make kambo inappropriate or unsafe.
booking and payment
consultation requirement first-time participants must complete a consultation before booking any ceremony. this ensures safety and appropriateness of kambo work.
donation-based exchange our services operate on sacred reciprocity principles with suggested donation ranges. payment is expected at time of service unless other arrangements are made.
cancellation policy
48 hours notice required for rescheduling when possible
emergency cancellations are handled case-by-case
no-shows may forfeit their donation
we reserve the right to cancel ceremonies due to weather, safety, or other circumstances
refund policy refunds are considered on individual basis for:
medical emergencies preventing participation
practitioner-initiated cancellations
safety concerns that prevent ceremony
participant responsibilities
preparation requirements participants must:
follow all preparation guidelines provided
arrive sober and drug-free
complete required fasting as instructed
bring required items (water, comfortable clothing, etc.)
arrange safe transportation home
honest disclosure you must provide complete and accurate information about:
health conditions and medical history
current medications and supplements
mental health status and support systems
previous plant medicine experiences
any concerns or fears about the process
integration commitment participants are responsible for:
following integration guidance provided
seeking appropriate support during integration period
continuing any recommended self-care practices
reaching out with questions or concerns
risks and assumptions
inherent risks kambo ceremonies involve inherent risks including but not limited to:
intense physical and emotional experiences
temporary discomfort during ceremony
potential adverse reactions despite screening
emotional or psychological challenges during integration
unpredictable individual responses to the medicine
assumption of risk by participating, you acknowledge and assume these risks voluntarily. you understand that no outcome can be guaranteed and that results vary among individuals.
emergency procedures we maintain emergency protocols and first aid capabilities, but participants are responsible for disclosing any health conditions that might require special attention.
conduct and behavior
respectful participation participants must:
treat practitioners and other participants with respect
follow ceremony protocols and instructions
maintain confidentiality about other participants' experiences
refrain from photography or recording during ceremonies
arrive in appropriate mental and emotional state
disruptive behavior we reserve the right to remove participants who:
violate ceremony protocols
behave disrespectfully or disruptively
appear under the influence of substances
pose safety risks to themselves or others
intellectual property
website content all content on our website, including text, images, and designs, is owned by casa de luz azul and protected by copyright laws.
educational materials integration resources and educational materials provided are for personal use only and may not be redistributed without permission.
photography and testimonials any photos or testimonials shared require explicit written consent. participants may opt out of any promotional materials.
limitation of liability
no medical claims we make no medical claims about kambo's effects or benefits. participants use our services at their own risk and should consult healthcare providers for medical concerns.
maximum liability our liability for any claims related to our services is limited to the amount of donation contributed for the specific service in question.
exclusion of damages we are not liable for:
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
lost income, profits, or opportunities
emotional distress beyond direct service provision
outcomes that do not meet participant expectations
indemnification
participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless casa de luz azul, its practitioners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
participant's breach of these terms
misrepresentation of health information
failure to follow preparation or integration guidelines
any actions taken during or after ceremonies
confidentiality
practitioner confidentiality we maintain strict confidentiality regarding all personal and health information shared by participants.
participant confidentiality participants must respect the confidentiality of others' ceremony experiences and personal information shared in group settings.
governing law
